The person behind AKTU Note and the story of why it exists.
Hi, I’m Abhishek Dayal — the founder, author, and the person behind every note, every article, and every update you see on AKTU Note. This platform is not backed by a corporation, a university, or an investor. It is a one-person initiative, built from scratch with a single belief at its core: Education Should Never Be a Burden.
I run AKTU Note entirely on my own — researching content, writing and editing study materials, managing the website, handling SEO, and engaging with students across social media. It’s a lot of hats to wear, but every time a student tells me a note helped them in their exam, it reminds me why I started this in the first place.
My Background
My academic journey started with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, which gave me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and technical discipline. From there, I pursued an MBA specialising in Operations and Marketing, which opened my eyes to how businesses work — from supply chains and process design to branding, consumer behaviour, and strategic planning.
After my MBA, I entered the corporate world and spent several years building expertise as an SEO Specialist. Working in digital marketing taught me how content reaches people online, how search engines evaluate quality, and how to build platforms that genuinely serve their audience rather than just chasing traffic.
It was this intersection — academic knowledge, marketing skills, and a deep understanding of how online content works — that eventually led me to create AKTU Note.
Why I Built AKTU Note
During my own time as a student, I experienced firsthand how stressful it can be to find reliable study materials — especially when you are up against exam deadlines and budget constraints. Good notes were either locked behind paid platforms, scattered across unreliable sources, or simply didn’t exist for certain subjects.
I kept thinking: why should access to quality study material depend on how much money a student has? That question never left me.
When I had the skills and experience to do something about it, I did. AKTU Note was created to be the platform I wished I had as a student — a single, reliable, free destination where students of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow could find well-structured notes for their MBA, BBA, and other programmes without paying a single rupee.
How I Work
Every piece of content on AKTU Note goes through a process I have built and refined over time. I start with the official AKTU syllabus and map each topic to standard MBA textbooks and established academic references. I use AI writing tools as a drafting aid to improve speed and coverage, but I personally review, edit, and fact-check every article before it goes live. The final responsibility for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness rests entirely with me — not with any automated system.
I also keep a close watch on syllabus revisions from AKTU. When the university updates its curriculum, I revisit and update the relevant content so that students are always studying from current material. And when readers report errors — whether factual, structural, or typographical — I correct them promptly and transparently.
You can read more about this process on the Publishing Principles page.
What Drives Me
AKTU Note is not a business in the traditional sense. It is a passion project funded through advertising revenue (Google AdSense), which covers the hosting and operational costs while keeping the platform completely free for students. There are no premium tiers, no hidden charges, and no paywalled content.
What drives me is a simple idea: if I can help even one student feel less stressed, better prepared, and more confident walking into an exam, then the work is worth it. Education should empower people, not burden them — and I want AKTU Note to be proof that free, quality resources can exist on the internet without any strings attached.
